|At the meetings our volunteers try to help any who need advice, information or support with their individual circumstances. There's a bit of paperwork to go through first where we get you to tell us a bit about yourself. You can also go on the list to see our volunteer solicitor Richard - who sees people free of charge at the meetings. In the main part of the meeting we encourage you to speak about your experience and we help you come up with a workable solution to overcome your problems. People tell us that being able to share their stories and help one another frm their own experience is reallly valuable. All our volunteers wear photo ID. If one of those has a yellow lanyard round their neck then they are an Advice Volunteer. Due to the confidential nature of the issues it is important for everyone to appreciate that anything discussed during the meeting cannot be discussed with any third party. It is a requirement of attendance that all participants agree to this restriction.|
